The Point offers spectacular vistas of the Caribbean Sea and the neighboring islands of the South. The Point is the grandest of Covecastles Resort's villa collection. Just steps from the water's edge, its striking design presents living spaces which treat the surrounding magnificent island and sea views as part of the decor. An atmosphere of understated elegance, privacy, and sophisticated service blend perfectly at this secluded retreat.
Interiors feature spacious living areas furnished to invite relaxation and detailed to ensure comfort. A soothing color theme combines stylish rattan, luxurious raw silk and cool terra cotta with accenting lush tropical plants. From the main floor living and dining rooms, large glass doors open to a terrace, as do the two guest rooms on this floor. An especially spacious master suite appointed under a twenty foot ceiling is complete with twin decks, and a private Jacuzzi bath with outstanding view. Two second floor guest bedrooms also boast private decks.

Two 4-bedroom Grand Villas, Four 3-bedroom Villas and eight 2-bedroom Beach Houses are set on a spectacular white sand beach. Our 5 bedroom villa “The Point” and 4-bedroom villa "The Pavilion", each with their own private pool, can be combined as a private compound at the north end of the Covecastles village including a private tennis court.
Designed by June Goldfinger, every aspect of the interiors within the cool white walls and stucco floors has been created for complete comfort and total relaxation. Hand-embroidered linens, custom designed rattan furniture with raw silk cushions, Georg Jensen silver settings, and tropical plants in handmade Nevisian clay pots are just some of the special touches that echo the languorous tropical setting.
In addition to intimate dining in the restaurant or catering in your villa, there is a fully equipped kitchen with Cuisinart and Krups appliances, Georg Jensen silverware, 3 sets of dishes and 7 sets of glasses, and other chef level appliances for those who wish to enjoy their own cuisine.
From every room there are breathtaking views of the glistening white fine sand beach, turquoise sea and clear blue sky.

The Beach: One half-mile of glistening white sand. Secluded and quiet, oftentimes you will only have the warmth of the sun and the murmuring sea for company. Whether it’s a brisk morning walk; an opportunity to build your Castle in the Sand; or a leisurely evening stroll under the stars, Shoal Bay West is the perfect beach for you. Our wonderful seascape invites you to swim or snorkel in the calm, azure waters, or try your hand at a bit of sunfish sailing. Beach towels, umbrellas and snorkel gear are provided for all guests.
